The Peluso chocolate of Modica is IGP certified. This unique chocolate is processed at a low temperature, a method of the ancient Aztecs. This allows the cocoa butter to melt, leaving the sugar crystals intact, making this Sicilian specialty highly nutritious and rich in flavonoids. No butter, oil, or milk is added. Serve with grappa, or a dessert wine such as Moscato. We also suggest melting it in milk or water for a delicious drink, or grating over cappuccino.
