Giuseppe Mastrocesare is the heir of a family of bakers who since the early 1900s have been making classic Piemontese breadsticks and other baked specialties in this small village of the Piedmont region of northern Italy. Classic Piemontese Grissini are hand rolled. His hand crafted Tostini crackers, just like the grissini, are uniquely "knobby" and each one has a different shape. We have chosen grissini and crackers that are flavored with rosemary, walnuts, grains, sesame seeds and more in well balanced recipes that make these good as accompaniment for any savory foods, especially cheeses and cold cuts.
