Augello oil comes from Biancolilla variety olives in the province of Agrigento, Sicily. It is a complex and elegant oil with flavors of freshly cut grass, green tomatoes, and herbs, with slight bitterness and peppery aftertaste. Winner of the GOLD MEDAL at the 2007 LA County Fair and International olive oil competition.
Suggested use:
Raw over marinated fish, salads and vegetables, and meat. Cooking sauces for pasta.
