Castelli Floral Incised Platter

This decorative accent has fluted edges and is made by Lino Laielli from Castelli, a ceramic center for centuries located in the high Appennines of central Italy, just east of Rome. Lino Laielli works alone with his wife in a small store in the center of town. His floral design is referred to as "Antica Castelli," or antique Castelli design. Our customers consider these plates among the most unique "never seen before" pieces, even by very serious ceramic connoiseurs.
